Outpatient Clinical Consultation
Our practice offers expertise in evaluating and treating infants, children, and adolescents for a number of pediatric cardiac conditions:
Congenital heart disease
Arrhythmias
Murmurs
Chest pain
Syncope
Palpitations
Obesity
High blood pressure
Elevated cholesterol
Sports clearances
Fetal echocardiography (for expectant mothers)
Electrocardiography (EKG)
We perform an EKG on each child seen at our office.

Echocardiography
During your child’s visit, we may perform a heart ultrasound, or echocardiogram. This is a non-invasive and safe procedure that does not hurt your child.

Heart Monitor
The EKG provides a snapshot of your child’s heart rhythm. For children with symptoms like chest pain or fast heart beat, the cardiologist may need to examine the heart’s rhythm over the course of one to two days. This is done by placing a Holter monitor.

Stress Test
A stress test is ordered if the cardiologist wishes to further evaluate your child while he or she is exercising.
